Famic

Famic is a combination of special acid ingredients which rapidly dissolve calcium and magnesium salts.  Fast acting and good dissolving capabilities allow it to cut through alkaline films and hard water deposits more easily and quickly than most heavy-duty acid cleaners.

Recommended Uses
Famic is recommended for use on most mineral scales commonly found in blanchers and cook vats.  It is also effective on rust and mineral scales found in hard water areas. 

Use Instructions
Blanchers:  Use 0.5 - 3 % solutions depending on type of scale.  Heat for 1-3 hours at 160 - 180 F. 

Safety

Avoid breathing dust.  Wear chemical goggles and plastic or rubber gloves when handling this product. 

First Aid
Eyes:  In case of contact, immediately flush eyes with plenty of clean running water for at least 15 minutes, lifting the upper and lower lids occasionally.  Remove contact lenses, if worn.  Get medical attention immediately.

External:  In case of contact, immediately flush skin with plenty of clean running water for at least 15 minutes.  Remove contaminated clothing and shoes.  If irritation occurs, get medical attention.

Internal:  If swallowed, do not induce vomiting.  Get medical attention immediately.  If victim is conscious, give plenty of water to drink.  Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.
