Features and Benefits
Recommended Uses
Chlor-A-Foam is recommended for use in removing protein and other alkali-soluble food soils. This product can be foamed onto meat handling equipment, brewery tank walls, conveyor belts and frameworks, augers, milk fillers, juice fillers, soft drink fillers, kettles, mixers, and all other general food processing equipment.
Use Instructions
Flat Surface Foaming: Use one gallon of Chlor-A-Foam per 50 gallons of hot water 130-150°F. Let stand for 5 minutes, then rinse with potable water.
Vertical Overhead, Wet Vertical Surfaces, and Glass-lined Tanks: Use one gallon of Chlor-A-Foam per 40 to 50 gallons of hot water 130-150°F). Let stand for 5 minutes then rinse with potable water.
Portable Foaming Equipment: Follow equipment manufacturer's instructions. Always rinse equipment after use to avoid plugging of equipment orifices.
Note: When using this product in enclosed or restricted ventilation areas, allow time for proper ventilation before entering.

Wear chemical goggles, rubber gloves, rubber apron, and rubber boots when handling this product.
First Aid
Eyes: In case of contact flush immediately with copious amounts of tap water or normal saline for a minimum of 15 minutes. Take exposed individual to a health care professional, preferably an ophthalmologist, for further evaluation.
External: Flush exposed area with plenty of clean running water for at least 15 minutes. Remove contaminated clothing and wash thoroughly before reuse. If irritation persists, consult a health care professional.
Ingestion: If swallowed, do not induce vomiting. Get medical attention immediately. If victim is fully conscious, give plenty of water to drink. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.
